The 1050 aluminum strip is a product of the pure aluminum strip series, which is similar to the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the 1060 series products. It is basically replaced by the 1060 aluminum strip in current applications. The last two digits of 1050 series are 50. According to the naming principle of international brands, qualified products must contain 99.5% aluminum. China's aluminum alloy technical standard (GB/ t3880-2006) also clearly stipulates that 1050 aluminum content reaches 99.5%. As it does not contain other technical elements, the production process is relatively simple and the price is relatively cheap. It is currently the most commonly used series in conventional industry. Industrial pure aluminum has the characteristics of high plasticity, corrosion resistance, good electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, but low strength, not through heat treatment, not good cutting, acceptable contact welding, gas welding.

Industrial pure aluminum has the general characteristics of aluminum, small density, good electrical and thermal conductivity, good corrosion resistance, good plastic processing performance, can be processed into plates, belts, foil and extrusion products, gas welding, argon arc welding, spot welding.
Can't heat treatment to strengthen industrial pure aluminum, can improve strength by cold deformation, the only form of heat treatment are annealing, the recrystallization starting temperature and impurity content and degree of deformation, generally at about 200 ºC. The b=80 ~ 100MPa, 0.2=30 ~ 50MPa, =35% ~ 40%, HB=25 ~ 30. After 60% ~ 80% cold deformation, the value decreased to 1% ~ 1.5% although the value increased to 150 ~ 180MPa. Increasing the content of iron and silicon impurities can improve the strength, but reduce the plasticity, conductivity and corrosion resistance. The annealing softening and cold hardening characteristics of 1200(L5) industrial pure aluminum plate are shown in the figure. It can be seen from the figure that the mechanical properties of different cold hardening states can be obtained by adjusting the annealing temperature after cold deformation or controlling the amount of cold deformation after annealing. In order to improve the formability, the former method is better.
